I would like to enquire about what steps are being taken as
regard the incompetence, "cover up" tactics and alleged corruption within the higher echelons of the Strathclyde
police force.
The case of Shirley McKie has made it obvious that NO citizen
is safe while such individuals are in control. It is a
terrible thing to live in fear and in my view Ms McKie only
survived her ordeal due to her unshakeable belief in truth and
justice.
Like many, many others I believe there must be an independent
investigation into this case and the guilty parties brought to book, not only for Ms McKie, but for the integrity of the criminal justice system.
