I am Shirley's father and have been following your conversations with great interest.
We have a lot to thank those two 'cowboys' Pat Wertheim and David Grieve for - honesty, integrity and humanity are qualities we have felt to be in short supply at times.
Your comments add to what is becoming a unique world wide discussion.
As an ex-police officer I still have faith in the fingerprint system but it is only as good as its 'experts'. It seems extremely important that your profession sorts out its own if others fail to do so.
I hope you will appreciate that I cannot comment further at this stage but I will post a full update early in the new year.
