It is most unfortunate that errors like this occur. It is difficult to understand how
two prints with as many dis-similar characteristics could have been claimed as
an identification in the first place.

Even on the screen of my moniter the differences were easily seen.

Thanks for publishing this, I hope it will demonstrate how important it is
to be very careful when identifying or verifying a latent print identification
or a non identification as in this case.
